Job summary

Htprof is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead plant-level safety and environmental initiatives across multiple sites in the U.S. The role emphasizes training, auditing, and EHSS systems administration within an ISO-based framework.

The position is the sole EHS owner for the site, requiring hands-on leadership, the ability to roll out corporate programs, and strong engagement to advance safety culture while ensuring compliance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of plant-level safety and environmental background with a technical Bachelor degree.
• No direct reports; sole EHS position for the site.
• Experience managing ISO-based platforms, safety training, auditing, workers' comp, and EHSS systems administration.

Job description

Must have at least (3) years of plant level safety and environmental background along with a Bachelor degree in a technical area.

Responsible for supporting the EHS function (heavy focus on safety & health) for a (150) employee, non-union production plant plus (4) small manufacturing/distribution facilities with (20-30) employees each located in PA, KS, AZ and FL (travel to each site once a year).There are no direct reports – sole EHS position for the site.

Manage EHS activities through an ISO based platform and reporting tools. Safety: training, auditing, workers compensation, EHSS systems administration; continue strengthening their safety culture journey and employee engagement. Roll out corporate programs/systems and work closely with Corporate EHS. Maintain EHSS metrics, recordkeeping, and general environmental compliance.
