Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to advance compliance and sustainability programs at the Thousand Oaks site, supporting R&D and Product Development activities.

You will interpret and ensure adherence to environmental regulations, interface with regulatory agencies, develop compliance initiatives, manage data reporting, conduct inspections, and lead safety and emergency response efforts.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s degree with 3+ years (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years, or equivalent experience).
• Leadership experience in managing teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and ensure adherence to complex environmental regulations.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and develop compliance and sustainability initiatives.
