Job summary

Amgen seeks an EHSS Senior Manager to lead Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability programs at the Thousand Oaks site. You will manage select Research and Non-clinical PD functions, act as Global Radiation Safety Lead, and own site EHSS governance and performance metrics.

Ideal candidates bring deep health physics expertise, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven ability to mentor cross-functional teams while driving safety culture and continuous improvement across complex operations.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with 2+ years EH&S Sci Tech experience or
• Master's with 4 years EH&S Sci Tech experience or
• Bachelor's with 6 years EH&S Sci Tech experience or
• Associate's with 10 years EH&S Sci Tech experience or
• High school diploma with 12 years EH&S Sci Tech experience

Responsibilities

• Lead EHSS Client Management for Research and Non-clinical PD functions.
• Serve as Global Radiation Safety Lead and site EHSS program owner.
• Mentor EHSS Client Rep network and guide governance implementations.
• Collaborate with Radiation Safety Officers and cross-functional teams.
• Support strategic planning and annual EHSS goals through data-driven insights.
