Qualifications

• Degree in chemical engineering, engineering, chemistry, biology or science area, or environmental/safety/industrial hygiene.
• Experience in risk management and developing EHS programs.
• Proven success in industrial safety and change-control programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Smartsheets and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver results through influence and integrating EHS with business practices.
• Drive improvement in EHS performance in key program areas.
• Lead investigations and risk assessments in lab environments.
• Serve as owner for industrial safety compliance and change control.
• Analyze incidents to target prevention strategies and assist root cause analysis.
• Support Human Performance and incident reviews for high-hazard events.
• Establish safe work procedures for chemical/biological labs.
• Coordinate emergency response teams and site EHSS activities.
