Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller's BW Packaging is seeking a Senior Leader, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to drive the EHS strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. You will partner with Operations, People, and Field Service to embed safety into daily work and lead Workers’ Compensation initiatives.

Responsibilities include developing governance models, leading audits, implementing safety programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, operations, engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, NEBOSH IGC/Diploma) preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EHS strategy across multiple sites.
• Standardize EHS governance, policies and programs across sites.
• Lead OSHA/regulatory compliance, audits, risk assessments and RCCA.
• Drive safety programs (LOTO, machine safety, fall protection) and near-miss reporting.
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation management and return-to-work processes.
• Coach leaders and build a culture of safety ownership.
