Job summary

BW Packaging seeks a Senior Leader, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to direct the strategy and execution of our EHS program across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites in Colorado.

This role partners with Operations, Field Service, and People teams to embed safety into daily work and drive continuous improvement. You will lead workers’ compensation, incident investigations, RCCA, and safety program deployment (LOTO, arc flash, safe lifting).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in safety, operations, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, NEBOSH preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the EHS strategy across multiple sites.
• Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Lead safety programs (LOTO, arc flash, fall protection) and behavior-based safety initiatives.
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation management and return-to-work processes.
• Lead training, governance, and reporting; build a culture of safety ownership.
