Job summary

BW Packaging seeks a Senior Leader, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to drive the EHS strategy across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites.

You will develop and refine programs to ensure regulatory compliance, reduce risk, and embed a culture of care, partnering with Operations, Field Service, and People teams. You will lead Workers’ Compensation strategy and execution, including claims management, cost control, and RCCA alignment with safety practices, while building a strong safety culture and

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing EHS programs across multiple sites.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and environmental rules.
• Proven track record in incident investigation and RCCA processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the EHS strategy aligned with business goals and culture expectations.
• Establish and standardize EHS governance models, policies, procedures, and best practices across sites.
• Advise executive leadership on EHS risks, trends, and regulatory impacts.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local manufacturing safety regulations; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Oversee incident investigations and RCCA closure; drive safety program deployment across sites.
• Lead training programs and build a culture of safety ownership and proactive risk awareness.
• Establish EHS KPIs, dashboards and reporting; present performance to executives.
