Job summary

BW Packaging in the United States is seeking a Senior Leader, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to drive the EHS strategy across multiple sites. You will partner with Operations, People, and Service teams to embed safety into daily work and lead Workers’ Compensation program in the US.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk management, safety program deployment, audits, incidents, and building a culture of care.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement standardized EHS systems.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental requirements.
• Experience managing workers’ compensation programs and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the EHS strategy across multiple sites.
• Standardize governance, policies, and procedures for EHS.
• Lead incident investigations and RCCA implementation.
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation strategy and cost control.
• Drive safety programs (LOTO, machine safety, fall protection) and audits.
• Build a culture of care and continuous safety improvement.
