Job summary

Sysco Denver (The Sygma Network, Inc) is seeking an EHS Leader to provide intermediate-level EHS expertise across multiple sites and support the field safety team. You will help implement the global EHS management system and drive safety training, compliance, and incident investigations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field, 3+ years of EHS program experience, and strong regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, risk management, safety, industrial/quality or environmental engineering.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local EHS regulations and best practices.
• Ability to research regulatory requirements and summarize them clearly for non-EHS audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate-level EHS expertise to assigned business units and support field safety teams.
• Manage injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk and build a safety culture.
• Lead site-level hazard assessments and incident investigations with root cause analysis.
• Deliver and track regulatory and compliance training per OSHA and company policy.
• Support workers’ compensation processes and claims management activities.
