Job summary

Sysco Denver is seeking an intermediate-level EHS specialist to provide site EHS expertise, support the field safety team, and partner with the EHS function to implement the global EHS management system. The role focuses on delivering EHS training, environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, transportation safety, contractor management, and business continuity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of EHS program management experience with large multi-site companies.
• Bachelor's degree in EHS, safety, industrial engineering, or a closely related field is required.
• Master's degree in EHS or related field preferred.
• ASP/CSP designation or ability to obtain within 1 year is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk and foster a world-class safety culture.
• Identify and control site hazards; support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver and track compliance training programs per regulatory and Sysco policy.
• Support workers' compensation claims processes and promote safe, early return to work.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage EHS resources and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to designing standardized safety systems, policies, and campaigns.
