Job summary

Sysco is seeking an intermediate-level EHS professional to provide site expertise across assigned business units, support the field safety team, and collaborate with the EHS function to implement the global EHS management system. The role focuses on training, environmental compliance, health and safety, workers’ compensation, and incident investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with major course work in EHS, risk management safety/industrial/quality/environmental engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of EHS program management experience with large national or multi-national companies with multiple sites.
• ASP or CSP and other EHS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to minimize injury risk.
• Identify, assess, and control site-level hazards and assist in incident investigations.
• Deliver and track compliance training programs per regulations and Sysco policy.
• Support workers’ compensation processes and return-to-work programs.
• Collaborate with leaders to manage EHS resources and projects.
