Job summary

The SYGMA Network is seeking an intermediate-level site EHS professional to provide expert guidance to assigned business units, support the field safety team, and collaborate with the EHS function to implement the global EHS management system.

You will lead injury prevention initiatives, assess hazards, manage compliance training, and assist with workers’ compensation processes while partnering with site leaders to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, risk management, safety, industrial, environmental engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to motivate and influence a world class safety culture.
• Identify, assess, and control site-level hazards; assist in incident investigations with root cause analyses.
• Deliver and track compliance training per regulatory agencies and Sysco policy; address gaps and opportunities.
• Support workers’ compensation claims processes and safe return-to-work efforts.
• Partner with functional leaders to influence EHS resources, projects, and decisions.
