Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an intermediate-level EHS professional to provide site-specific expertise across multiple Sysco locations in the US. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, risk management safety/industrial/environmental engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of EHS program management experience with large national or multi-site companies.
• ASP designation or ability to obtain within 1 year preferred.
• CSP/CIH or other recognized EHS certifications highly desirable.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and incident investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute injury prevention programs to foster a world-class safety culture and minimize injury risk.
• Identify, assess, and control site-level hazards and support incident investigations with root cause analyses.
• Deliver and track compliance training programs per regulatory agencies and Sysco policy, identify gaps.
• Support workers’ compensation claims process, OSHA determinations, and return-to-work initiatives.
• Collaborate with leaders to influence EHS resources, projects and decisions.
• Provide input on standardized safety systems, policies, training, campaigns and programs to reduce risk.
• Support environmental compliance and claims programs across sites.
