Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced EHS program leader to provide management and staff support for implementing environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures across projects. You will ensure compliance with regulatory and ISO standards, lead program development, and interface with staff, customers, and regulators as needed.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, driving corrective actions, managing multiple EHS projects, and delivering world-class safety performance while supporting

Qualifications

• B.S. in science, engineering, safety, or environmental field.
• 10+ years of hands-on and programmatic Health & Safety/compliance experience.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support.
• Conducts safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance and compliance.
• Travels to customer sites to support EHS programs and safety practices.
• Manages EHS projects/programs and develops new programs or procedures for regulatory or customer requirements.
• Maintains or updates EHS training materials for WM staff and sometimes customer staff.
