Job summary

WM is seeking a seasoned EHS Program Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety policy implementation across projects. You will ensure conformance with environmental regulations, ISO standards, and customer requirements while interfacing with WM staff, project sites, and regulators.

The role involves up to 50% travel, development of site procedures, audits, and ongoing data analysis to drive improvements. A strong background in EHS management is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar.
• 10+ years hands-on and programmatic Health & Safety/compliance experience.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support for implementing EHS programs.
• Conducts safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance and compliance.
• Travels to customer sites to observe and assist in EHS program implementation.
• Manages diverse EHS projects and creates new programs/procedures for regulatory or customer requirements.
• Maintains and analyzes EHS training programs and databases to track conformance.
• Supports problem resolution and programmatic improvements.
