Job summary

WM seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental and safety programs across operations, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety requirements, ISO 14001/9001 procedures, and regulatory standards. You will oversee program staff, develop new processes, and interface with site teams, customers, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Travel up to 50% is required. The role includes managing audits, preparing action plans, reviewing DOT and ISO records, and driving continual improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering, safety, environmental science or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on and programmatic health & safety/compliance experience.
• 5 years experience in manufacturing and industrial operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support.
• Conducts safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance.
• Travels to customer sites to implement EHS programs and safety best practices.
• Develops site-specific procedures or action plans as needed.
• Manages EHS projects/programs including regulatory submittals and scorecards.
• Develops and maintains EHS training materials and conducts training.
