Job summary

WM is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to provide management and project staff support, ensuring implementation of environmental and safety policies, programs, and processes across operations. You will interface with WM staff, customer sites, and regulatory bodies to drive conformance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading EHS programs, conducting ISO 14001/9001 audits, and managing safety initiatives while supporting projects and training WM staff and customers.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Science, Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or similar degree.
• 10+ years Hands-on and programmatic Health & Safety/compliance experience, including some training experience
• 5 years Experience working within manufacturing and industrial operations

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site or off-site WMSS project staff guidance and support for EHS programs.
• Conduct initial safety and environmental assessments and ISO audits for conformance and compliance.
• Travel to customer sites to implement EHS programs and safety best practices.
• Manage multiple EHS projects and create or update programs to ensure regulatory compliance and customer requirements.
