Job summary

Avera seeks an EHR Application Principal Trainer in Sioux Falls to design, develop, validate, maintain, and deliver role-based training for EHR and healthcare information system apps. You will partner with informatics analysts, operational leaders, and the system-wide learning team to ensure curriculum reflects approved configurations and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Three years of experience in EHR training or healthcare IT.
• Experience developing role-based technical training materials and scenarios.
• Experience working with Epic/EHR applications.
• Epic Principal Trainer certification or willingness to obtain within established time frame.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain role-based training curriculum for assigned EHR applications.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and recorded training sessions for end users and staff.
• Coordinate curriculum review and obtain required approvals before implementation.
• Build and maintain training environments and data for realistic learning scenarios.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvements to materials and delivery.
