Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an Informatics Trainer to deliver frontline EHR training and coaching across multiple applications. You will facilitate instructor-led and virtual sessions, help users become proficient, and support during go-lives and upgrades.

Your role includes refining workflows and ensuring user readiness. Ideal candidates have a background in healthcare IT, experience in training delivery, and Epic certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in related area.
• Experience in EHR training and healthcare information systems.
• Ability to deliver instructor-led, virtual and small group training.
• Epic certification for assigned application may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EHR application training and coaching.
• Support personalization and efficiency sessions.
• Provide at-the-elbow application support during deployments.
• Deliver refresher and optimization training.
• Support super users and end users.
• Identify training opportunities.
• Validate training materials and workflows.
• Test training readiness materials.
• Document learner feedback and training gaps.
• Maintain current application knowledge.
