Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a Manager of EHR Application Training to lead a team responsible for role-based curriculum, training delivery, and readiness across implementations and upgrades. You will partner with informatics, operations, and project teams to ensure training content reflects approved system builds, security roles, and workflows.

The role oversees trainers, governs documentation, and drives end-user adoption with data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience in EHR or application training.
• Experience with healthcare information systems or clinical informatics is preferred.
• Certification in instructional design or application training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the EHR application training team with coaching and performance management.
• Set strategy for application training and readiness for implementations and upgrades.
• Oversee curriculum governance, materials, and quality standards.
• Ensure alignment between training content and system build/workflows.
• Direct training delivery operations across instructor-led, virtual, recorded, at-the-elbow, and eLearning formats.
• Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements based on data.
• Manage training documentation, standards, and records.
