S-R-International-Inc is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead a large EHR implementation for the Commonwealth of PA DOH. This role requires strong background in EHR/EMR, health informatics, and change management across multiple centers and staff.

The position emphasizes PMP-certified project leadership, stakeholder coordination, and rigorous governance to ensure on-time delivery within budget. Onsite presence in Harrisburg, PA is required two days per week.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Active PMP certification for 5+ years.
• Demonstrated EHR implementation experience, particularly transitioning from paper-based charting.
• EHR/EMR, Health Informatics & Health IT knowledge.
• Project planning, execution, governance, testing, and implementation.
• Business process enhancement/reengineering.
• Project schedule, budget, scope, milestones, and risk management.
• Stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional IT team management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Currently residing in Pennsylvania and able to work onsite in Harrisburg 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete EHR implementation lifecycle, from planning through implementation and transition to operations.
• Develop and manage the Project Management Plan and Project Schedule.
• Manage scope, budget, milestones, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate testing and implementation activities.
• Manage communication plans, status reporting, project metrics, and stakeholder updates.
• Coordinate with application, data warehouse, informatics, networking, security, service management, and vendor teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder and vendor meetings and resolve project issues.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and track risks through closure.
• Plan and coordinate project-specific training and orientation.
• Report project status and recommendations to senior leadership.
