Job summary

Privia Health is seeking a Senior Platform Specialist to support athenaOne for Privia Medical Group clinicians. You will understand business requirements, configure athenaNet content, and act as a SME ensuring successful project delivery across multiple initiatives.

Your role includes managing complex issues, leading projects, and maintaining platform standards while training staff and collaborating with the IT team. This position emphasizes strong communication and analytic problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of clinical and/or managed care experience.
• 2+ years experience with EHR configuration and customization, athenaNet strongly preferred.
• Understanding of clinical terminology.
• Experience working in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of ambulatory healthcare operations including referrals, scheduling, registration, insurance and patient billing operations.
• Experience using Google Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites or equivalent software.
• Solid understanding of healthcare informatics.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
• Familiarity with Project Management systems/tools.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Results-driven, multi-tasking and planning for prioritizing workload.
• Excellent telephonic and in person communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Act as Clinical Informatics SME to improve efficiencies with athenaNet.
• Document, track, and close or escape athenaNet related issues.
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting all aspects of athenaNet.
• Provide remote support for EHR issues when needed.
• Own medium/large projects and lead planning sessions.
• Manage client relationships and project progress with stakeholders.
• Configure and customize athenaOne and maintain platform standards.
• Train end-users on athena functionality and support process docs.
