Job summary

Atria Health Institute is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Foundations team, leading the technical direction of our platform with a focus on EMR integrations (Athena), systems infrastructure, caching, and internal tooling.

You will own design and implementation of core services, partner with clinical and engineering leaders, drive reliability, performance, and analytics, and mentor engineers across multiple product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives.
• Healthcare or HIPAA domain familiarity is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with product and design teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision for the Foundations group.
• Lead API design and integration patterns across services.
• Improve performance and reduce external API dependencies.
• Build shared libraries, SDKs, and internal APIs.
• Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards.
