Job summary

The role requires deep knowledge of healthcare IT, Epic/Cerner systems, HL7 and FHIR standards, and strong cross‑functional leadership. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or GED with extensive relevant experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in EHR integration or healthcare IT management.
• Epic Bridges certification maintained throughout employment.
• Expert knowledge of integration solutions and standards (HL7, FHIR).
• Ability to lead multiple projects and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex EHR and system integration projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks with PM practices.
• Present reports on integration progress and KPIs to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance integration capabilities.
• Provide advanced guidance on integration standards for product teams.
• Document and present creative integration solutions to senior management.
