Job summary

Abbott Cancer Diagnostics is seeking an Integration Manager to lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of complex EHR and system integration projects. You will ensure data exchange alignment with business goals, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive improvements in integration performance.

The role requires strong knowledge of EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner), HL7/FHIR standards, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in EHR or system integration, healthcare IT management, or IT project management.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or GED with relevant experience.
Possession of or ability to obtain Epic Bridges certification within 6 months of hire.
Strong knowledge of integration solutions (point-to-point, API) and EHR systems (Epic, Cerner).
Familiarity with HIPAA and HITECH regulations; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of EHR and system integration projects.
Manage scope, schedule, requirements, issues, and risks using standard project practices.
Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues.
Coordinate changes from original specifications.
Prepare reports on progress, performance, and KPIs for stakeholders.
Build positive relationships with stakeholders and leadership.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Apply business strategy to evaluate technical process recommendations.
