Job summary

Abbott Cancer Diagnostics in the United States remote team seeks a Senior Integration Analyst to own EHR HL7 interfaces, guiding design, validation and support for internal and external systems. You will configure Corepoint, Epic EHR interfaces, develop translation routines, monitor live interfaces, and mentor other analysts.

Travel is ~5% with rotating on-call. Required: Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years IT experience, 3+ years interface engine development, Epic Bridges certification, Corepoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, computer science, math, information systems, statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT experience supporting system integrations.
• 3+ years of Interface Engine Development.
• Epic Bridges Certification.
• Ability to develop in Corepoint or another interface engine.
• Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to coordinate activities with multiple players and communicate with leadership.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Mentor other EHR Integration Analysts and establish best practices for interface engine development and system integrations.
• Provide EHR integration team representation on project teams of varying size.
• Coordinate with engineers to meet operational needs with evidence-based solutions.
• Develop new interfaces in the Corepoint interface engine and configure interfaces in Epic EHR.
• Manage the full lifecycle of interface development from analysis to go-live and support.
• Develop, write, and execute test plans ensuring requirements and regulatory standards are met.
• Monitor health of live interfaces and provide permanent solutions with experts.
• Document target data elements and translate external data for HL7 conversion.
