Job summary

Sharps Compliance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist to lead safety and regulatory programs across a growing multi-site network. You will partner with Operations, Fleet, HR, and site leadership to strengthen workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.

This role requires independence and strong judgment. You will oversee complex safety audits, lead incident investigations, design training curricula, and mentor junior EH&S staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7+ years of progressive EH&S experience across multiple sites.
• Experience leading safety inspections, compliance audits, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory compliance across multiple sites.
• Design and lead facility safety inspections, audits, and risk mitigation plans.
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training on Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, DOT HazMat, PPE, etc.
• Maintain EH&S databases, training records, and incident documentation; report to leadership.
• Travel to company locations to support audits, investigations, and training.
