Job summary

Sharps Compliance, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Specialist to lead safety and regulatory programs across 35+ locations.

You will partner with Operations, Fleet, HR, and site leadership to strengthen workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. The role owns complex safety audits, leads incident investigations, designs and delivers employee training, drives compliance monitoring, and mentors junior EH&S staff with independence and sound

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety/health-related field.
• 5-7+ years of progressive EH&S experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety inspections and compliance audits across multiple sites.
• Investigate workplace injuries and environmental incidents; perform root cause analyses.
• Own environmental compliance programs for regulated medical waste, hazardous waste, stormwater, wastewater, and air emissions.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training including Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, DOT Hazmat, PPE.
• Mentor junior EH&S staff and partner with site leadership on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual EH&S reports for leadership.
