Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join our legal team supporting a large Federal agency in Philadelphia. The role involves managing productions, reviewing and loading documents into Relativity, virus scanning, and following strict protocols for sensitive materials.

Qualified candidates will have at least three years in eDiscovery, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience supporting project task requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree; three years of additional relevant work experience may substitute the degree.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest long cover letters and provide brief production descriptions.
• Coordinate obtaining passwords from producing parties when encryption is used.
• Determine if cover letters contain information suitable for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions off-network using multiple antivirus tools.
• Address or reject productions per protocol if issues are detected.
• Copy cleaned productions to the Agency’s network following protocols.
• Follow handling procedures for documents (e.g., whistleblower, MOUs, BSA, transcripts).
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and completeness.
