Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to support a large Federal agency within the Legal department. You will log productions, assess cover letters for Relativity loading, and perform virus scans to ensure safe, load-ready data.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, with emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience may substitute for degree
• Knowledge of information resources
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Experience managing multiple tasks
• U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System
• Digest long cover letters and describe the production
• Coordinate password requests from producing parties if needed
• Determine if cover letters qualify for loading into Relativity
• Virus scan the production using multiple software
• Follow protocol when issues arise or reject non-compliant productions
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network
• Handle documents (whistleblower, RFPA, MOUs, International, BSA, audio, transcripts, laptops, paper)
• Analyze productions to determine required processing and protocol
• Ensure data completeness and load readiness
• Monitor incoming productions by email and via FTP
• Scan/ OCR paper documents for Relativity loading
• Coordinate off-site scanning of large paper bundles
• Communicate issues to Litigation Support Specialist
