Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is hiring a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join our Legal department. This executive-level role supports FBI discovery activities, preserves data, and ensures compliance across complex matters and external requests.

The position requires deep eDiscovery experience, Relativity expertise, and strong communication with legal and technical teams. A U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a government clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience.
• 3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation and their impact on FBI Discovery policies.
• Monitor industry to apply new tech or best practices to FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Ensure new functional capabilities address existing requirements.
• Advise on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil/criminal matters and external inquiries.
• Monitor legal hold custodians and preservation of material.
• Update and/or create SOPs for the ETA role.
• Provide strong technical and legal background in electronic discovery applications.
