Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join our Legal Department. You will support civil and criminal matters, FOIA requests, and external inquiries using FBI discovery tools and processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in eDiscovery or litigation support, 2+ years with Relativity, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in eDiscovery or litigation support.
• 3+ years on major lit support projects.
• 2+ years in Relativity beyond document review.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Experience with EDRM (File to Trial) across all realms.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active preferred).
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience; JD highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation and FBI Discovery policies.
• Monitor industry to apply new technology and best practices to FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Advise on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil, criminal, FOIA, and external inquiries.
• Monitor legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation.
• Update or create SOPs for the ETA role.
• Provide strong technical background on eDiscovery applications and strong legal background.
