Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Ecologist to support nuclear environmental licensing nationwide. You will lead environmental analyses, engage with regulatory agencies and stakeholders, gather data during site visits, and help prepare reports and licensing documents.

You will develop complex analyses, present findings to diverse audiences, and mentor junior staff in project management and regulatory compliance. Occasional fieldwork and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ecology or related field.
• 7+ years in environmental consulting, nuclear power, or related field.
• Knowledge of ESA, NEPA, MBTA, BGEPA, and related regulations.
• Experience with federal or state regulatory agencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 5% and perform fieldwork when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental reviews to assess impacts of nuclear facilities on terrestrial and aquatic resources.
• Prepare environmental reports and biological assessments per NRC, NEPA, and guidelines; support licensing applications.
• Gather environmental data during site visits and develop technical content for reports.
• Develop and present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior staff in project management and regulatory compliance work; assist in proposals and qualifications.
