Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects. You will assist with regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental work within the Environmental Services Group.

You will help with risk assessments, data quality objectives, sampling plans, and conceptual site models, collaborating with teams and clients to deliver defensible solutions. Travel may be required as duties evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Equivalent related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and risk assessments (HHRAs/ERAs).
• Contribute to data quality objectives, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs for various project scopes.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
