Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group in the United States. You will help ensure regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental programs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop risk assessments, DQOs, QAPPs, SAPs, and CSEMs, mentor junior staff, and participate in client meetings and proposals to advance the firm's environmental

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Science or related discipline required or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as duties demand.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Develop DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs and assist with project planning.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement project approaches.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and support client meetings and proposals.
• Contribute to technical knowledge through white papers and conference presentations.
