CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects within CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams on risk assessments, data quality objectives, and sampling plans, contributing to the firm's knowledge and client solutions. Travel may be required for project support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field; professional registration/certification preferred.
• 7 years of related experience in environmental consulting or regulation.

Aufgaben

• Support site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Develop data quality objectives (DQOs), QA/QP plans, and sampling and analysis plans (SAPs).
• Assist in planning for HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs of varying complexity.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to implement project approaches.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior staff.
