Job summary

Baptist Health Walker Hospital is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Sonographer to perform high-quality noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound exams under supervision. You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings, and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate interpretation and patient care.

Qualified candidates have ARDMS/CCI credentials and maintain current BLS certification, with at least two years’ experience in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound

Qualifications

• Education/training as required under ARDMS/CCI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in routine noninvasive/invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound diagnostics.
• Leads others in complex problem solving.
• Interprets clinical and diagnostic information to assist in exams.
• Performs noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology/vascular diagnostic exams with provider supervision as needed.
• Maintains safety and quality control, documentation, and communications with the healthcare team.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
