Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Wiregrass Ranch Hospital is seeking a Sonographer III to perform noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound exams, with strong expertise in echocardiography. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, document findings, and assist providers in delivering high-quality care.

The role requires at least two years of experience, ARDMS/CCI credentials, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the field.
• Competency in routinely performing Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or RDCS, or Cardiac credentials per ARDMS/CCI.
• Ability to perform 2-D/M-Mode Echocardiography and vascular exams with appropriate techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive and invasive cardiology/vascular ultrasound exams with equipment operation and documentation.
• Lead others in complex problem solving and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with providers to obtain pertinent clinical and diagnostic information.
• Ensure quality control and patient safety in all procedures.
• Train and orient new sonographers and supervise students as needed.
