Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Echo-Vascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations across clinical settings. You will work under the Chief Cardiac Sonographer and collaborate with staff and investigators to ensure exams meet established policies and quality standards.

Requirements include a B.S. in Diagnostic Ultrasound or CAHEP-accredited program with 3–5 years of experience, and RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS credentials.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Diagnostic Ultrasound preferred or CAHEP-accredited program, with 3–5 years of experience as a registered echo-vascular sonographer.
• RDCS or RCS certification required; RVT or RVS certification required.
• 3–5 years of clinical scanning experience in a hospital/clinic setting; CAHEP accreditation required.
• Prefer at least one year of Echo/Vascular experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations per policies and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with staff and investigators to ensure exams are completed per procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation support, and clinical training of new staff.
• Coordinate workflow and cross-training within the Echo Lab.
