Job summary

Baptist Health Walker Hospital seeks an experienced sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiology and vascular ultrasound exams under supervision. You will demonstrate anatomy through imaging and collaborate with providers for interpretation and intervention.

Qualified candidates have graduation from an accredited sonography program, ARDMS/CCI credentials, and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in echocardiography and vascular studies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• Must maintain ARDMS/CCI credentials as applicable.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Performs noninvasive and invasive cardiology and vascular ultrasound exams.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment with precision.
• Works closely with providers to document clinical info and deliver high-quality images.
• Supervises student sonographers and participates in departmental workflow.
