Requires graduation from an accredited sonography program and certification per ARDMS/CCI guidelines, plus at least two years’ experience in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• Meets ARDMS/CCI guidelines as required by department.
• Two years’ experience in echocardiography or vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Performs noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology and vascular diagnostic sonography exams with quality images.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment and participates in quality control tasks.
• Work with providers to document clinical history and interpret findings.
• Supervise student sonographers and assist with workflow and training.
