Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Registered Echo-Vascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams across multiple locations. The role reports to the Chief Cardiac Sonographer and supports quality improvement, staff training, and workflow coordination.

Required are a CAHHEP-accredited program or BS in Diagnostic Ultrasound and 3–5 years of relevant experience, plus RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS certifications where applicable.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of clinical scanning experience as a registered echo-vascular sonographer.
• RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS certifications are required or equivalent.
• CAAHEP-accredited program and ARDMS/CCI credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams per policy and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with Chief Cardiac Sonographer and staff to ensure exam quality and timely reporting.
• Participate in training of new staff and workflow coordination.
