Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to lead configuration, testing, and deployment of emergency call handling systems across on-premises and cloud environments. Responsibilities include site verification, cloud connectivity, and customer-facing support.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/technical settings, cloud know-how, and strong telephony/AD skills. Expect up to 75% travel, with relocation none; comprehensive U.S. benefits and competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ required.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting.
• Windows/Linux server experience and virtualization familiarity.
• Knowledge of SIP interfaces and call flow troubleshooting.
• Active Directory knowledge for account segregation.

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Performs site verification testing before production cutover.
• Sets up connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues in a timely manner.
• Assists with cloud migration/MOP development and approvals.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
