Job summary

The New York State Department of Health is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist 2 (EIS 2) to oversee, triage, and respond to inquiries from early intervention stakeholders. You will help develop program requirements for the data system and assist with training and guidance on policy and system use.

Key duties include collaborating with Bureau units, updating guidance documents, and ensuring operations are maintained while implementing changes for the Early Intervention Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with four years of experience in Early Intervention systems or services.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team or project.
• Experience with Early Intervention programs and related policies.
• Experience providing guidance and technical assistance to program participants.
• Familiarity with EI-Hub or similar state data systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, triage, distribute and respond to inquiries from early intervention stakeholders.
• Contribute to program requirements and documentation for the data system.
• Assist with training, guidance, and communication related to system operations and policy.
• Collaborate with Bureau units and help update policies and procedures.
• Provide supervision of staff and support ongoing operations.
