Job summary

PURE Insurance is seeking a Senior Underwriter in Scottsdale, AZ to profitably grow a book of business in partnership with agents and colleagues. You will plan and budget the book, develop agency relationships, and execute underwriting decisions.

With 5+ years in underwriting, especially high net worth, you will own your portfolio, communicate with empathy, and obtain required licenses within 45–60 days. Base salary ranges with merit increases and bonuses.

Qualifications

• You have at least 5 years of underwriting experience, preferably in the high net worth space.
• Direct, empathetic communication is essential and building connections matters.
• Current P&C and E&S broker licenses preferred or must be obtained within 45 and 60 days.
• Ability to gather and analyze data to make risk-based decisions.
• You work with pride and determination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee book of business and monitor performance and market conditions.
• Build and manage broker relationships and develop tailored strategies.
• Lead underwriting for new and renewal accounts per company guidelines.
