STRATIVIS is seeking a Senior Property Underwriter to join its Specialty Risks team in the United States. The role focuses on underwriting Excess & Surplus property risks with wholesale brokers, balancing growth and profitability.

This on-site position requires four days in the office weekly. You will evaluate complex risks, structure coverage, and work closely with claims, actuarial, and risk engineering to deliver a profitable book of business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial property underwriting experience in E&S/wholesale.
• Strong knowledge of CAT-exposed risks.
• Experience underwriting both new business and renewals.
• Established relationships with wholesale brokers.
• Ability to evaluate complex risks and make disciplined underwriting decisions.
• Understanding of pricing, coverage, and portfolio management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite new and renewal E&S property business with pricing and terms.
• Develop and manage a profitable book of business.
• Analyze CAT exposures, losses, occupancy, construction, geography.
• Build relationships with wholesale brokers.
• Structure coverage and negotiate terms on complex risks.
• Monitor portfolio performance and pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with claims, actuarial, risk engineering, and underwriting teams.
• Stay current on market conditions and CAT trends.
• Contribute to portfolio strategy and growth opportunities.
