MSIG USA seeks a Senior Underwriter to produce, underwrite, and manage a profitable commercial property portfolio, with emphasis on E&S and complex risks. You will independently evaluate risks, structure deals, and build strong broker relationships to support nationwide growth.

You will underwrite large accounts, review submissions, and collaborate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and Actuarial to deliver solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of direct E&S Property underwriting or 5+ years in broader commercial property underwriting.
• Experience underwriting large accounts, shared and layered property programs desirable.
• Strong broker development and relationship-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite, price, negotiate, and manage complex commercial property risks within authority and guidelines.
• Review submissions including property exposures, construction, protection, catastrophe and risk factors.
• Structure complex property accounts, including large and layered placements.
• Develop new business through broker relationships aligned with appetite and profitability.
• Maintain broker relationships and act as underwriting partner with distribution partners.
• Manage portfolio with focus on premium growth, retention, and profitability.
• Exercise independent pricing and terms within authority and market conditions.
• Negotiate with brokers while balancing growth and portfolio quality.
• Coordinate with Risk Engineering, Claims, Actuarial, and other stakeholders.
• Document underwriting decisions clearly in line with standards and controls.
