Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Senior Data Specialist to support eDiscovery workflows for a large federal initiative. You will manipulate, load, convert, and QA data, ensuring compliance with ESI specifications and producing documents for litigation.

You will leverage tools like Relativity, Everlaw, and NUIX to manage databases and support attorneys and paralegals. Working under the guidance of client attorneys, you will coordinate with the Litigation Support Manager and the client’s

Qualifications

• Experience with litigation discovery processes and EDRM workflow.
• Two years’ experience in eDiscovery roles including processing electronic files, data culling, QA, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and other document review tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
• Develops and modifies methodologies for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
• Ensures incoming productions are made pursuant to applicable ESI specifications.
• Performs advanced tasks exporting data from contractor and client databases with redactions and quality checks.
• Supports client attorneys, investigators, and paralegals by processing documents, subpoenas, and data; creates, loads, and manages document review databases; produces documents to opposing parties.
• Under guidance from client attorneys, manages documents and data using document review tools and various ESI types.
• Coordinates with Litigation Support Manager to ensure productions meet ESI specs and reports deficiencies when found.
• Coordinates with client’s Technology Service Center for outsourced litigation support projects.
• Ensures exports comply with ESI specs and client requirements, working with litigation support team on discovery.
• Works with Litigation Support Specialist to modify files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
