Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Technical/Business Analyst to bridge business needs with IT for enterprise Dynamics 365 Sales implementations. You’ll lead requirements, design solutions, and guide end-to-end delivery, including low-code/no-code Power Platform and AI tools post go-live.

In addition to traditional BA duties, the role emphasizes technical solution design, data migrations, and collaboration with partner ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience in technical business analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (Dataverse, model-driven apps, security roles, forms/views, and custom entity design).
• Experience in writing technical/business requirements, mapping specifications, user stories, and backlog refinement.
• Experience leading complex, end-to-end CRM implementations across multi-sprint SDLC/Agile.
• Willingness to travel (25% or less).

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements sessions with sales, sales ops, and channel partner stakeholders to translate business needs into detailed business requirements, user stories, mapping documents, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct requirements interviews, gap analyses, and process mapping across core CRM functions (Lead Management, Opportunity Funnel, Account Hierarchy/DUNS, and Partner Relationship Management).
• Certify Solution Designs and ensure platform customizations remain aligned with out-of-the-box best practices.
• Lead end-to-end delivery activities from requirements through sprint builds, Data Validation Testing (DVT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Develop comprehensive UAT plans, write/review test scripts, coordinate UAT execution across business teams, and manage defect resolution with vendor/partner engineering teams.
• Facilitate pre- and post-go-live readiness, cutover support, and legacy platform sunsetting activities.
• Utilize Power Platform and embedded AI tools post go-live to prototype, build, and deploy light-touch business automation solutions.
• Validate and refine custom AI prompts, automated workflows, and hand off to IT for long-term maintenance.
• Coordinate with technical leads, enterprise architecture, and program managers for cross-instance data model alignment.
