Job summary

Cara Veterinary is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - DVM Recruiting to own the DVM recruiting strategy and build a robust talent pipeline for its Seattle-area hospitals.

You will lead full-cycle DVM recruiting, partner with leadership, and engage with veterinary schools and events to anticipate capacity needs. Regular travel in the Seattle area and at industry events is expected. This is a full-time, salaried exempt role reporting to the Vice President of People.

Qualifications

• Significant full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Proven success sourcing and closing hard-to-find talent in competitive markets.
• Strong passive candidate sourcing and relationship-building skills.
• Experience building and maintaining long-term talent pipelines.
• Strong closing, negotiation, and candidate management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle DVM recruiting from proactive sourcing through offer.
• Build and nurture relationships with active and passive DVM candidates.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline for future hiring needs.
• Partner with Medical Leadership, Operations, Hospital Leaders, and People Team.
• Develop relationships with veterinary schools, externs, and future talent sources.
• Represent Cara at conferences, career fairs, and veterinary events.
• Provide market intelligence on compensation trends and recruiting challenges.
• Use data to monitor pipeline health, time to fill, and capacity.
